Kaziranga National Park is a renowned wildlife sanctuary located in the northeastern state of Assam, India. It is one of the most famous and important protected areas in the country, known primarily for its conservation efforts for the Indian one-horned rhinoceros. Kaziranga National Park is situated in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of Assam in northeastern India. It covers an area of approximately 430 square kilometers. Kaziranga is a paradise for birdwatchers, with over 450 species of birds, including migratory birds, making it their home. The park is especially famous for its large population of the Indian subcontinent's largest bird of prey, the great Indian hornbill.
