Kaziranga National Park is a renowned wildlife sanctuary located in the northeastern state of Assam, India. Other notable species include Bengal tigers, Indian elephants, wild water buffalo, swamp deer, and various species of birds. Kaziranga is a paradise for birdwatchers, with over 450 species of birds, including migratory birds, making it their home. The park is especially famous for its large population of the Indian subcontinent's largest bird of prey, the great Indian hornbill.
