Kedarnath yatra

Kedarnath Yatra is a spiritual pilgrimage journey undertaken by devotees to visit the revered Kedarnath Temple, located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India. Nestled amidst the majestic Himalayas, at an altitude of 3,583 meters (11,755 feet) above sea level, Kedarnath Temple is one of the holiest Hindu shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva.

The journey to Kedarnath typically begins from one of the base points like Haridwar, Rishikesh, or Guptkashi. From there, pilgrims embark on a rigorous trek or opt for alternate means of transport such as horses, palanquins, or helicopters, depending on their preferences and physical abilities. The trek route is not only a test of physical endurance but also offers breathtaking views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks, lush green valleys, and pristine rivers.
