The night viewing tours are organized in eight batches, each accommodating fifty people for a duration of 30 minutes. Daytime access to the Taj Mahal is available through three gates: Eastern, Western, and Southern. However, for night viewing, tourists are allowed entry only through the Eastern gate. The tours begin at 8:30 PM and continue until 12:30 AM, with battery-operated vehicles transporting visitors from the Shilpgram parking area to the Eastern gate.
